Clergy 

PARISH PRIEST

Revd Sally Buckley tssf moved to Denmark-Walpole in August 2019 from Esperance where she was active in various kinds of ministry for over 30 years, including 13 years as parish-priest.  

 

Revd Sally is passionately involved with The Third Order of the Society of St Francis (TSSF) and is currently the Assistant Provincial Minister for Asia and the Pacific. Revd Sally is also qualified as a Spiritual Director through Wollaston's Tree of Life programme.

ASSISTING CLERGY

Revd Sue Lodge-Calvert was our parish priest 2010-2017 and lives in Denmark. Sue presides at services every second month, is a part of the Blue Wren Lodge team, and assists other parishes in the Deanery on rotation.

LAY MINISTERS

Lay minsters are licenced by the Bishop to assist with services, offer extended communion in the absence of a priest, and to perform a range of other ministries.

Dr. Alison Kershaw is licenced to preach and take funerals, and holds a monthly Twilight Meditation Service. Alison composes prayers for use with the Sunday lectionary, and is a parish councillor.

Sally Prickett is a liturgical assistant and  is also licenced to take funeral services. She has a special ministry, alongside Alison and Revd Sally, with the residents of the Blue Wren Lodge in Denmark Hospital. Sally is also a manager of the Mustard Seed Op Shop, the Safe Church contact person, and choir member.

Harold Luxton is a mainstay of St George's in Walpole. He leads services in the absence of a priest. Harold is also a Warden and the parish Treasurer.

Dr. Jane James is a liturgical assistant, parish councillor, and plays flute with the choir. 

Tom Sheard is a litirgical assistant and Warden.

Jan Pattinson is a liturgical assistant, parish councillor, and choir member.
